True bespoke,
where modular stops

The eaves, the reentrant corner, the stairwell opening, the skirting offset. No catalogue piece catches them. Domelia manufactures to the measurement, in France, from a survey and a design office.

Domelia — bespoke library

Domelia — True bespoke, made in Rennes. Dressing rooms, bookcases, eaves and partitions.

The house

A maker that works only for the trade

Domelia describes itself as the 100 % bespoke maker at the service of the trade. Founded in 1991 and based in Rennes, the house does not sell to private clients: it manufactures for architects, joiners, developers and resellers.

That is exactly the role we hold. You give us the dimensions; their design office validates feasibility, secures the project, and manufacture starts when the Bon pour Accord is signed — with a lead-time commitment from that date.

The ranges

Eight typologies, one logic

The catalogue is not a list of furniture, it is a list of situations. You start from the volume to be treated, not from a model to be adapted.

    Bespoke dressing room, dark fronts
  • Domelia — Dressing rooms and closets — vue 2 sur 3
    Glazed dressing room, black frame

Dressing rooms and closets

The most requested typology. Hanging space, drawers, shoe racks, lighting — but above all a volume that follows the room exactly, including its defects.

Bookcases and media units

The whole wall treated in one go, cable runs included. That is what avoids the unit bought separately, never quite the right length.

Desks and eaves

The workstation that occupies the lost height, and the eaves that become storage. In a rental villa, it is the extra room that shows in the listing.

Partitions and fitting out

Workshop partitions and dividers, to recut a volume without building a wall. Useful when a villa changes use between residence and rental.

Why this brand here

Six points before
launching a bespoke job

Bespoke costs more than modular and less than a local cabinetmaker. It still has to be engaged properly.

  • Design office
Validates before makingA design office takes your dimensions and secures the project. That is what prevents the piece that will not fit — the classic bespoke accident.
  • Bon pour Accord
The point of commitmentNothing starts before your signature, and the lead time runs from there. You know precisely when you commit.
  • Survey
On site or from plansA villa wall is never plumb. An on-site survey beats an architect’s plan, especially in refurbishment.
  • Fitting
Entrusted to an island craftsmanWe do not fit. We point you to a joiner on your island, and we send them the drawings directly.
  • Matching finishes
With the kitchenFinishes coordinate with a Gamadecor or a Dolle in the same room. That is decided at the survey, not after.
  • Cost
Between modular and cabinetmakerDearer than catalogue storage, considerably less than a local cabinetmaker — and factory-made, so consistent.
