A rechargeable lamp is never plugged in: it crosses the whole region without caring about voltage or frequency. It is the only light fitting we sell the same way on St Martin, on Sint Maarten and on Saba.

The house

An Italian glass house that became a lighting brand

Zafferano comes from hand-blown glass and tableware. The brand built its international name on another idea: the rechargeable lamp, set on a table, with no cable and no socket.

The Poldina has become a standard of European hospitality. A restaurant buys them by the table, charges them overnight, and never has to run an electrical line onto a terrace again.
